Chapters 11-13 had me a bit mind blown after reading. Somewhere in my head I wanted to feel sorry for Chris, but then another part in my head told me that it was basically all his fault. I was a bit confused when I first started reading these chapters, simply because I had already created a mental idea in my mind that Chris's parents may have been the reason he left in the first place, but then once I read these chapters I realized that Chris deliberately walked into his own death. His parents seemed like perfectly "normal" caring parents that any "normal" person would love. Although there is one point in Chapter 12 that I may have agreed with Chris leaving, but that was only because I believe I would have been hurt to if I found out my father was cheating on my mother with his ex wife. But other then that I believe that Chris may have been a bit stubborn and hard headed when it came to listening to others not to mention he was very judgmental and didn’t know how to overlook the past.
