The Kidney

               Ethical Question
Given the controversial nature of organ sales, it is often difficult to discuss the issue rationally, for the idea of trading one's organs sounds almost too suicidal, almost beyond belief.
Controversial it may be, pragmatism and a poignant view of the chronic global shortage of organs, plus the long waiting list for organ transplants, means that organ sales may be the last resort to address this rather pressing issue.

Discussion Question:
Should people be allowed to sell a kidney for transplantation?
